An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
